I’m Richard Huang, a photography enthusiast based in Toronto, Canada.

This website is not a formal portfolio, but an ongoing visual record of my life. From the Peruvian highlands and the streets of North Korea to the banks of the Danube and the Camino de Santiago, I use both a camera and, often, my phone to capture the easily overlooked moments I encounter along the way—not just the landmarks themselves, but fleeting intersections of light, people, and everyday life.

“Visual Diary” is a different kind of record: it has no set theme, but simply accumulates over time. Its stream of images presents moments close to everyday life. A photograph may have been taken today or many years ago. Words appear only when needed; more often, I prefer to let the photographs speak for themselves.

When words are needed, I turn to “Notes” to reflect on light and shadow, personal memories, reading, encounters with art, and daily life in the city. These pieces offer observations and reflections that go beyond photography.

The website is primarily in Chinese, with English content to be added gradually.
